ciliandis, posting in venturebrothers @ 11:38pm: Yay internet radios.
If any of you are LastFM users, I highly suggest giving one of their tag radio stations a whirl ... someone actually created a tag called chillin' with my peeps and my main man the monarch, and it's got some great stuff on it: a lot of Foetus, Steroid Maximus, and J.G Thirlwell's other work, as well as some stuff by the Sovereign himself, and other things that sound tres Venture.

Give it a whirl if you can! :D

We scouted out the karaoke at the tavern in the center of Avalon Park last week and it was a lot of fun - like the karaoke nights of old back at Applebees.

We haven't gone bowling in a while. Perhaps we should remedy this.

I like Option #3 because of what happened last year. How I finished that philosophy paper the next day I don't know.

I can roll out an emergency movie night of "Fail Nobra Classics" or perhaps we can go with watching the first three Indiana Jones films in preparation for next week.

Suggest away if those don't do it for ya.

-Found out i'm loosing a roommate. Nobody in the house is happy about this.

-Cthulhu (our cat) chewed the end of his tail off. Blood all up in my room. Had to take him to the vet.

-Sharkteeth booker is screwing around with dates on me for our next show. Can't get in contact with him due to the hours I work.

-After all the crap today I had to go into work and work till 4am on the opening of The Simpsons Ride tomorrow. Lots o' lighting.

-Gotta be back in at 3pm to do the actual event and I will be there all night.

Grr.....
lechuckscurse, posting in failnobra @ 1:30am: Where do we....begin?
A year ago, Fail Nobra was actually starting to look on the up and up. Some of us established ourselves in Avalon, found nice places. And also, made new members within the organization.

What happened?

Now for some reason, things are starting to go downhill. With people moving and plans not going according to their original plans. And really an overall sense of downerism.

So what do I propose?

It's simple. Kill the Bat....wait wait WAIT. Hold on, sorry.

*chucks Heath Ledger's dead body as puppet to the floor*

Ok, now where was I...oh yeah. Things are changing. And right now, I can see this really has not been the best time as of late.

I think we need to have something fun. I don't know what, but something with everyone. And as hard as this may sound, put away the differences and negativity towards each other. And do something fun. Like a movie night or who knows (not really good at coming up with something). I know Jacon is going on this weekend. So if anything goes on at this house, it can't be too late. In respect to others who are actually WORKING at Jacon.

Just feels like I went away to St Pete and come back to Emo-ville or something.

Also, I wanna get back more into TF2 again. It sucks the Nobra server is no more :(

berserkershinji @ 2:13am: Salacious Crumb

So i'm watching the original Return of the Jedi tonight and thought i'd look up Salacious's history.

A Kowakian monkey-lizard, Salacious was little more than vermin infesting the innards of Kwenn Space Station. Having long eluded the Mantilorrian rat catchers employed by the station, Crumb made good his escape by stowing aboard Jabba the Hutt's visiting vessel.

When discovered by Jabba, the meddling little lizard was almost eaten by the Hutt (it served Crumb right, since he hid in Jabba's feeding bowl). Jabba tasked his two competing henchmen to capture the elusive stowaway. Bidlo Kwerve and Bib Fortuna ended up covered in green ooze in their bid to catch Salacious, and the ridiculous sight produced a massive belly-laugh in the Hutt.

The Kowakian could stay, Jabba decreed, but only if the goofy being could make the Hutt laugh once a day.

I love that little bastard so much. I could listen to him laugh all day. No wonder Jabba kept him around.

I went to Disney to apply for a part time job today. I went in the morning and didn't get out until 4:45, and I couldn't get lunch! STARVING. Geez. So, yeah. I'll be at Hollywood Studios (aka MGM), in the Sunset Blvd. attractions on the weekends... meaning Tower of Terror, Beauty and the Beast, and Rockin' Roller coaster. I don't know if I'll be rotating through those or they're going to assign me to one, but I suppose I'll find out at the Traditions.....orientation thing. I really want to be an evil bellhop at ToT bwahahahaha. Yay for low pay.

Speaking of Disney, I hate Kingdom Hearts. It's pissing me off.

Totally forgot about LJ, my bad.

Things I forgot to mention, though everyone else already has (weeks ago)
De may rocked. Great to see everyone I never get the chance to hang with.
Beach was awesome.Stopped by some on-the-water restaurant on the way home and there was a dolphin right next to our table in the water. That was cool.
Got home, drank some more, grabbed a few hours of sleep, woke up and went to the river with fed jas and jess, floated down, still drinking.
It was almost 36 hours of solid drinking, good practice for the rest of summer.

I gotta get plans together for the zombie party, I've been so busy literally doing nothing that I haven't had time to do anything.

Went out with Mike, Betsy, Jenny, and Jas the other night, that was, well it was hella fun to say the least.
I was the meat in a hot girl sandwich, can't complain about that.

Still waiting for the 17th so I can play Age of Conan, though at the rate my download is going it's going to be the 20th before I can play.

Going to CJ's tonight for 2-4-1 beers, all you can eat wings, and oysters, I fucking love that place.

Probably not going to Jacon, but I'm totally up for a Jacon party, anything happening?

I spent the last 2 hours in the pool and I'm all wrinkled.

Someone stole my keg while I was in Orlando last weekend, how lame is that? Right out of my yard, which as most of you know, is no small feat.
So now I have to buy a new one + tap. Weaksauce.

I require more nobraification, all most all my friends up here are all lame and don't party enough.

Hello there, some of you might remember me from Megacon. I am back again and planning shoots at JACON.  From the responses i recieved about planning shoots for megacon, no one really seemed interested in friday or sunday shoot.  If there are people interested in a friday or sunday shoot i might be willing to show up and make it happen. however i'm going to start taking reservations for saturday.

My photoshoots are DONTATION based.  I'll give you up to one (1) hour of time, unless you deem it to require less time.   ALSO : Please let me know what you plan on wearing so i can get familiar with the character, or provide links to referance photos, it helps.

kait1114 @ 10:38am: lol boring life update
Ok so for the past few weeks I've been up to a lot of stuff I've neglected to write about:

Last day of school a bunch of us walked across the street to sign up for the Wicked lottery. A large group of us won tickets so I got to go. I've never seen it before, but I thought it was awesome! Elphaba was excellent. Alex lent me the Broadway recording and I actually like our Elphaba and Glinda better than the Broadway versions. Glinda was soooo hilarious and spazztastic-- she reminded me of my rabbit when he's in his hyper, playful mode when he's doing jumps in the air and running around my room in circles lol. Anyway, I loved the musical. Way better than the book, in my opinion. I was actually kinda bored with the book and struggled to finish it.

Hung out with my class quite a bit the past two weeks- volleyball, canoeing, going to the beach, going to Disney... it was freaking great. I'm going to miss them all so much!

Then we graduated May 3rd.

During all this time, I've been cramming in the dvds people have forced me to borrow lol I got through the first 2 seasons of Arrested Development (I'll get the third later from Danny...it's so great), the first season of Power Puff Girls (lol Sarah, no more I don't think), and started to watch season 2 of SG1. I also rewatched Angelic Layer to make sure Sarah wouldn't have any problems with it when I give it to her. I think she probably won't be able to get through Ouran Host Club, which is a shame.

I also have a bunch of games Danny and Han threw at me... I figured since I'm planning for working in the game industry, I should probably catch up on some big titles. I really don't play that many games that often since I'm so busy with other stuff. But yeah, I started Kingdom Hearts. Not sure what the big deal about it is but I'm like 10 hours in and not impressed so far. Of course, I'm super slow and tend to die a lot in some battles and failing at jumping to ledges and crap, so I'm probably not as far into the story as I should be at this point. I'm about to fight another giant armor in Traverse Town I think. Well, I'm going to the keyhole soon since I just "found" it in Traverse Town. I don't know, it's ok, but the story better pick up or I'll be disappointed. Just because there are Disney characters and fake versions of FF characters doesn't make it a great game just because of that lol

I got through all the movies for Dirge of Cerberus since Kyle said I had to watch it before playing Crisis Core. Yeah, I didn't play it. It's a FPS, which I can't stand to play since I suck at them. Crisis Core will probably be next on my list after the Kingdom Hearts games...and maybe God of War since I haven't finished it from whenever I started it o.o

Don't ask, but I've been reading Inuyasha... I'm on chapter 419 (which is finally past the crappy anime). If I can make it this far with Inuyasha, I might try Berserk next :P

Yippee, that's about it. I think I'll go over to Disney tomorrow and apply, even though I just found out they had a job fair last week. I'm surprised I missed it since they usually have a bunch of ads. Probably can't get a job there now if they've hired all their summer positions.

I'm also applying for EA if their freaking site would just work! I'm still not sure if I should just work there (if they want to hire me) or go to FIEA.... FIEA's a great opportunity but I'm so scared about the debt!

Friday I gotta work, but I'll be going to Jacon afterwards and for the rest of the weekend since I already paid for it. Alex and I wanted costumes but weren't able to get anything figured out, and I doubt we'll pull something together by Friday. Bleh. Anyone have quick ideas? lol It looks like we'll probably just be following Sarah around in her Honda Tohru costume all weekend XD

Wow, sorry so long.

You ever feel really dirty when you take a shower? Like once you get in the shower you start washing your hair and your like "Oh god yes! God my hair was filthy!" and then you move on to your face and your all "Oh man that feels so good. I needed this" And then you get to your crotch.....
Well i'll just stop there but you get the point.

So I worked Reggae Fest today!

"Toots & the Maytals"

It was allot of fun. 15 hours at City Walk (blah!) but I worked with allot of cool cats so it made the day go by fast. Not to mention the great music and culture.
It's funny how highly the Jamaicans treat there musicians and the Marley's. They were treated like gods! Don't look at them in the eye. Clear a path. Hell Bret Michaels wasn't even like that at Mardi Gras! But I get it I guess. Bob did do a great thing for the Jamaicans. They all were very nice and cool. I love Reggae Fest. There was so much weed smoked under City Walk it wasn't even funny. I'm talking hot boxing fuckin the green rooms! I also got to hear Toots & the Maytals. I love his music. He was kind of an ass to my friend doin audio but what-ev. They still kicked ass.

"Setting up audio and drums"

And what a way to morn the anniversary of Bob Marley's death then to watch Stephen Marley sing a bunch of his fathers songs live! He looked identical to his father. And if you closed your eyes, you would swear Bob was up there singing "Buffalo Soldier, Jammin, etc."
I had a blast working the show...and man we struck that stage quick!
